Author Interview with Emily Camp

Tell us a bit about you:
My name is Emily Camp I write YA and NA romances and mysteries. For my day job, I work for a company that builds boat docks. I’ve been married for over two decades and have two kids who are now the same ages as most of my characters.
Why sports?
My family is into sports, I’ve spent a lot of time at sporting events. My son was a jock in high school and still plays on a semi pro football team. My daughter is in track and field.
What inspired this story?
I wrote this story solely for this anthology. When I saw Cara had a sports romance anthology she was putting together, I knew I needed to write a story since I write a lot of sports romances. I previously wrote a YA story about a boy tutoring a girl and had so much fun with it, I decided to flip the roles and have a girl be the tutor in this one and set it in college (of course, since it’s NA) for this story..
What can we expect from this collection?
Most of my stories have heavy themes, though this one does have a few, it is much lighter than other stories of mine. I just wanted to have fun with this one, and hope the reader does too.

More about Emily's story Falling For Autumn in Jocks:
Autumn is a genius. She tutors college students to save money for a trip she plans to take this summer. The cute guy who waltzes into his tutoring session ten minutes late and expects her to do his work tests her patience. She realizes the more time she spends with him that maybe there is more than looks and good athletic skills to this boy.
Kolson needs to keep his scholarship. Though he is a beast on the football field, he struggles in the classroom. The pressure begins to weigh on him and the tutoring sessions he needs to keep his grades up causes him to miss meals. It doesn’t help that the girl who is hired to tutor him gives him no slack unlike everyone else he comes across. She isn’t scared to tell him how it is and she makes him apply himself. Oddly enough, he likes that Autumn challenges him and doesn’t let him get away with slacking on school work.
By the time Kolson and Autumn have realized their feelings for one another it may be too late for the secrets they’d kept.
