Interview with Stacy from Spoken

ree

Stacy Smith Rogers tells stories, sparks connection, empowers women – and will happily rappel off a building if it makes the narrative more interesting.

She is a lifelong storyteller, author, photographer, and marketing and PR strategist with more than 25 years of experience spanning public relations, hospitality, fundraising, and brand development across industries including tourism, higher education, healthcare, culinary, and – most recently – technology.

She is a founding member of Spoken, an innovative AI audiobook platform, where she leads communications and author relations initiatives, helping writers discover new ways to publish their work and reach more readers through digital narration.

Stacy is also the founder of Stronger Girl, a women’s empowerment brand brewed for belonging and fueled by online sales of coffee and candles. Through Stronger Girl, she curates experiences that bring women together, including retreats, book clubs, and writing workshops. She thrives on integrating nature and connection into her events, including the Stronger Girl Glampout, the brand’s signature experience and a prelude to her upcoming memoir.

Known for her ability to capture authentic details and translate them into compelling stories, Stacy helps individuals and organizations express their identity with clarity and heart. Her experience owning a coffee shop during the pandemic – and later selling it to a nonprofit – offers perspective on how perseverance and serendipity can collide to create meaningful impact. Whether performing off-Broadway in New York City or rappelling down an 18-story building in Louisville, she consistently says “yes” to immersive experiences that enrich her creative journey and foster lasting connections.
